About

We’re a mantra band endeavouring to play sacred music, wherever and wherever it grew, and give it life here. We sing songs in Sanskrit and Hebrew, Yoruban and Arabic, English, Welsh, Proto-Celtic and more, and the idea is to get everyone else in the room singing too. Somewhere between a community choir and a prog-folk-celtic-rock gig, our events are pretty unique. We even have a cauldron we sometimes cook up some magic in. Yes, a proper cauldron.

We’ve had influences from all over the world, and this is reflected in our music. Matt played in metal bands for years before being wooed by Kundalini Yoga and having the divine inspiration to start up this little endeavour.

Dave (Devashish) got initiated into a tantric cult 20 years ago (in a chill way) whilst studying comparative religion and anthropology, and has been inspired always by efforts to remind humanity of it’s essential unity whilst honouring our diversity.

Viviane (VVZYK) is a busker by trade, and has had a profound journey with her voice, which has led her to feel the profound power of authentic sound and give her life to the love that it consistently points to. She has her own album

Amy is a grade 8, classically trained cellist, with a keen ear, passion for sound, and a bubbly energy that is pretty contagious.

We could write more, but it’s not really about us, it’s about you lot. You guys make it magic, we hold the space as best we can, and make sure the ingredients are as fresh as can be.
